BOREALIS

Exhibition
December 14 - 23, 2023

Francis Muscat, Fly Freeman, Lynne McIlvride, Rashmi Baird

Light-filled work from the very near North.

Four artists from the close-knit creative community of Uxbridge present an exhibition of luminous works that explore themes of light, colour, vibrancy, and reflection. As the world fills with conflicts and uncertainty, we are living in a time in need of light. This collection of works draws from active imagination rather than wishful thinking to provide modest and insistent reminders of goodness—like light streaming through a window, the play of shadows on a wall, and a cat in repose. Light reflects both fragility and hope.

Works will include: Painted and carved wood reliefs. Assembled mixed media sculptures using glass, wood, metal, paper and stone. Original etchings.
